Crossways

Tuesday Evening, 6:45-8:15 p.m.

Crossways is a 60 unit incredible study that you will never forget! “The Bible tells us a long, intriguing story and rewards those who dig deeply into it with an extraordinary surprise ending. It tells of a people who, for generations, awaited liberation from foreign oppressors with the hope that they themselves might one day rise up and rule the world forever. What they got instead was a Messiah who did indeed enter history to establish the Eternal Kingdom of God-not by ingenious military strategy and superior firepower-but by teaching forgiveness, abolishing nationalistic pretensions, shaking up the religious establishment of His day, eating with sinners and outcasts and walking the way of a Servant-without-limit.”

There is a personal cost to be part of this class. The personal cost is time and effort. However, there is also a financial cost to attend this class. The cost of the materials is $80. If you already have the materials you need not purchase them. Spouses only need to purchase one set of materials.

Sunday Morning Study

Christianity is under assault. But this is nothing new. Christianity has always been under attack from the devil, the world, and our own sinful flesh. Together, these influences do whatever they can to separate us from the Gospel of Christ by encouraging us to find religion in any place other than the very place where God has revealed Himself fully: in Jesus Christ.

Beginning September 18, Pastor Williams will lead a Sunday-morning bible study and discussion group based on Pastor Jonathan Fisk’s book, Broken : 7 “Christian” rules that every Christian ought to break as often as possible. During this eight-week group, we will discuss some of the ways that we are tempted to look for God in places that He has not told us to look. This group is open to all, but it is especially relevant to parents who have the challenge of raising children and young adults in an age that is increasingly hostile to the Word of God. Cost for the materials is $16.50. Please contact Pastor Williams if you have any questions.
